Well I'm feeling quite pleased with myself today. Wargames Illustrated came out with their Back of Beyond issue, and my Tibetan buildings and some of my figures made it into the magazine. The blog also got a nice mention in Lon Teal's article (Thanks Lon!).
Anyway, if you have an interest in Back of Beyond gaming, I suggest checking the issue out. Lots of fun eye candy and useful information.
Note: I have now put part of my architectural details collection online.
Definitely need to pick that one up!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Looking forward to getting my copy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteWell done sir!
ReplyDeleteThanks All!
ReplyDeleteWell done Sir, I shall make sure I pick up a copy especially.
ReplyDeleteA very well-deserved pat on the back!
ReplyDeleteI honestly thought your article was the best of the bunch...stand out buildings and lovely figures.
Wow, congrats!
ReplyDeleteThat is some well deserved recognition.
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
ReplyDeleteGreat news Chris.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Congrats! You've certainly more than deserved it.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated everyone! It's really rewarding knowing people find my work and ideas useful.
ReplyDeleteHi, just bought WI and I saw your beautiful Tibetan Houses. May I ask you which template you bought on Clever Models Web site ? Many thx Stéphane
ReplyDeleteHi Stéphane,
ReplyDeleteFor the walls I actually used the Scalescenes textures: Ashlar TX45 and and Squared Rubble TX48, both OO scale, printed at 120%. To get the colored stone on the temple, I printed and re-scanned the sheets so I could modify them with Photoshop. Let me know if you have any more questions. I've also decided I'll put the windows and doors from my collection on the blog, so watch for that entry shortly.
Chris
Many thx ! I will download it right away !
ReplyDeleteI put a link of your blog on "my Links" from my blog by the way :-)
